Carmen Howard brings warmth, dedication, and consistency to every shift at the Food Market. She’s bilingual and an incredible multitasker, helping with everything from packing food boxes to handing them out to clients with kindness and care, often using her Spanish to make everyone feel welcome. Her calm presence and positive attitude make the food market Team, clients and fellow volunteers feel supported and valued.
Carmen was also honored with the Unsung Hero certificate during our Volunteer Appreciation Event on April 10, 2025 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Food Market and her deep commitment to FIRC’s mission. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!
