For many years, Helen Lemay has been one of FIRC’s most dedicated and caring volunteers. She supports both of our Food Market locations with consistency, reliability, and an always cheerful attitude. Helen is the kind of volunteer every team dream of—thoughtful, dependable, and always ready to help wherever she’s needed.
Beyond her regular shifts packing boxes and supporting our community, Helen went above and beyond during our Volunteer Appreciation Event, helping us bring everything together and making the day extra special. She was also among the volunteers recognized that day with the “Humanitarian Heart Certificate,” a well-deserved honor that perfectly reflects her commitment and heart.
We truly enjoyed our French practice sessions at the Food Market before her trips to France—they always make us smile! Helen’s warmth, generosity, and joy in giving her time to others truly embody the spirit of FIRC. We’re so thankful for all she does for our team and community.
