What is your role, and what does a typical day look like for you?
“I work as an associate in the Food Market, and every day brings new responsibilities.”
What inspired you to join FIRC?
“I volunteered for two years at the thrift store, and I loved it so much that they invited me to officially join the team. I really enjoyed working there because it gave me a chance to help and give back to the community.”
What has been your favorite memory at FIRC so far?
“Every year on my birthday, my team makes sure to bake my favorite cake. They celebrate me with so much love, and when it’s time to cut the cake, we always end up laughing so much.”
What do you enjoy most about working with the community?
“I love being able to make a difference by helping people access the food they need.”
How do you see your work making a difference in people’s lives?
“I think my work has a positive impact when I can create moments that truly touch people’s lives—whether it’s something simple, like sharing a cake, or something more meaningful. In the end, it’s those small gestures that make people feel valued and happy, and that’s what really matters to me.”
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
“Maybe not everyone knows that I have a very big heart, and that I love to cook and share my dishes with others.”
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend in Summit County?
“I love going for walks and enjoying a good meal at my favorite restaurant.”
