A hometown culinary showdown! Join FIRC for a heated food competition dedicated to supporting our vital programs! With an astounding 12,578 Summit County members impacted, your participation in FIRC Night Out will provide essential support to your neighbors. The evening will feature top local chefs using seasonal ingredients found in FIRC’s food markets. Come and cast your vote for your favorite dishes all while supporting locals in every bite.

Carrie Baird
Chef Carrie Baird competed on Season 15 of Bravo’s “Top Chef” and was a top 4 finalist. Baird was a contestant on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay” and beat him handily with her Pork Green Chili Huevos Rancheros. Baird has made a name for herself over the last two decades leading kitchens in some of the most highly-regarded restaurants in Denver, Colorado. Read full bio here.
Kevin Clarke
Kevin Clarke is the Director of Culinary Education at Colorado Mountain College (CMC), 2022 Faculty Member of the year, and a graduate of CMC's first Culinary Arts class. Kevin has been involved in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years. Kevin has coached and mentored student competition teams leading them to several state championships. Read full bio here.
Schedule of events
4:30 PM - Doors Open, Cocktail Hour, Appetizers & Live Music
As the event begins, the bar will be open and guests are encouraged to enjoy the appetizers prepped by All-Star Chef Teams! Our event will also feature fun table booths from local nonprofits and organizations to ensure everyone from kids to adults can enjoy the event. Be sure to cast your votes no later than 5:30pm in order to ensure your favorite teams to move on to the Final Round!
6:00 PM - Final Round begins - Entrée competition
During the event, all chefs will have just 60 minutes to create dishes using mystery boxes filled with ingredients commonly found in FIRC’s food markets. Each chef must highlight the ingredients in their box, relying on their creativity and culinary skills to craft recipes on the spot. Come out to see their creations and support your favorite chef teams at FIRC Night Out!
